The Development of Training Curriculum Enhancing Creativity in Learning Management for Student Teachers in Faculty of Education, Dhonburi Rajabhat University

Abstract

The research on the development of training curriculum enhancing creativity in learning management for student teachers in Faculty of Education, Dhonburi Rajabhat University is a is research and development study. The research objectives were as follows:1) to develop training curriculum for enhancing creativity in learning management, and 2) to measure the effectiveness of the developed training curriculum. The curriculum models of Taba and Oliva were used to develop the training curriculum consisting of 11 steps as follows: 1) Studying basic information; 2) Determining the aim of the curriculum; 3) Selecting and determining the curriculum content; 4) Selecting and accumulating the collection of experience; 5) Determining the method of measurement and evaluation; 6) Creating curriculum documents; 7) Checking curriculum quality; 8) Piloting the curriculum; 9) Implementing the curriculum; 10) Assessing and Improving the curriculum; and 11) Following-up the results after using the curriculum. The results showed that:1. The developed training curriculum consisting of rationale, concept and principle, curriculum objectives, curriculum structure, curriculum content, training period, training activities, materials, evaluation, and training schedule, had a high level of suitability with the average score 4.26 (S.D. = 0.49). 2. The results of using the developed training curriculum with the sample group indicated that: 2.1) the evaluation revealed that the creativity in learning management of the sample had increased with statistical significance at .05 after training; 2.2) the ability to employ creativity in learning management of the sample was higher at a very good level with statistical significance at 0.05 after training (t=25.67, p=0.000).
