Developing Chinese Listening-Pronunciation Learning Result of Grade 4 Students through Learning Management by Using Interactive Work Sheets at Ratchawat Wittaya School

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to compare Chinese listening and speaking learning result before and after learning management by using the interactive work sheets of grade 4 students at Ratchawat Wittaya school; 2) to study satisfaction level towards learning management by using interactive work sheets. The study group in this study was Grade 4/1 students of Ratchawat Wittaya school under the Office of the Private Education Commission with simple randomized by lottery method, using the classroom as a random unit of 19 people. This research was pre-experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design. The research tools were included 1) Chinese language learning instructional plans, 2) interactive work sheets, 3) Chinese listening and pronunciation learning test and 4) Lesson satisfaction questionnaire, which was created by the researchers and determined the quality of the instruments using ADDIE model principles. Data were collected by the Chinese listening and pronunciation test, before and after learning by using interactive work sheets. The statistical method were dependent t-test and descriptive statistics. The results of the research showed that 1) postsecondary exam scores of grade 4 students (who studied with learning management using interactive work sheets) were significantly higher than before classes activity (p value 0.05) and 2) Students’ satisfaction level towards learning management using interactive work sheets was at the highest level.
