The Development of Electronic book for use on Tablet Construction Printed Media Production with Package Software for Bechelor’s Degree

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program to be efficient at the minimum of 80%, 2) to compare the learning achievement before and after learning via e-Book on tablet, and 3) to examine the satisfaction of the learners towards e-Book on tablet. With cluster random sampling, the sample group for finding the efficiency was 21 students of the second-year in Educational Technology and Communications major, and the sample group for finding the achievement was 23 students of the second-year in Educational Technology and Communications major. e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program, the learning achievement test, the evaluation form for the quality of e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program and the questionnaire on the learners’ satisfaction were used as the research instruments. Mean, standard deviation, t-test Dependent were utilized to analyze the data.

Results of the research indicated that the efficiency level of e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program was 83.3%, which was in the moderate level. The learning achievement of the learners after learning via e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program was higher than the learning achievement of the learners before learning with statistical significant at .01 level. The satisfaction of the learners towards e-Book on tablet on the production of print media with computer program was found to be in high level.
