Abstract

The objectives of this research were : 1)  To compare English speaking ability before and after using learning  management  efficiency using Communicative English Teaching  Approach to enhance speaking  skill on local stories of Songkhla  for Grade Nine students  from Tessaban 5 ( Wathuapomnork) School  in Muang District Songkhla Province.  2)  To study the students’ satisfaction with English speaking ability.  The samples were 43 students  using cluster random sampling.  The research instruments consisted of  1) There were 6 plans of learning management under the title of Welcome to Songkhla. The plans were 20 hour 2) The evaluation of the English speaking skill form during class time   3)  The questionnaire on the satisfaction with the learning .  The statistics used in the study were mean, standard deviation and t-test.  The results found that :  1) The students English speaking after the use of communicative English  is statistically higher at .01 significance.  2) The students’ satisfaction  of learning   management efficiency using Communicative English Teaching Approach   was overall at the best level with an average score of 4.55.
