 Journal of Education Burapha University

Background

In 1989, the journal was first established under the title “Journal of Education” (pISSN: 0125-3212).

In 2020, the journal underwent a major revision, including a change of title and ISSN to “Journal of Education Burapha University” (pISSN: 2730-1303). During this time, the journal also adopted the Thai Journals Online (ThaiJO) system for journal management.

In 2023, the journal was further modernized by expanding its publication format to include an online version via ThaiJO, with the addition of an eISSN (2822-0730) alongside the existing pISSN.

In 2024, the journal transitioned to a fully online format through ThaiJO, discontinuing its print version. The journal has since been published exclusively under eISSN: 2822-0730.

In 2025, the journal initiated the process of obtaining DOI registration from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) to ensure that all published articles are assigned permanent digital identifiers (DOIs) in accordance with international standards.

Present

Journal of Education Burapha University is a humanities and social science journal aiming to publish academic and research articles in education in both Thai and English, by scholars, faculty members, and students from higher education institutions and internal and external organizations. Journal of Education Burapha University accepts academic articles and research articles in the fields of curriculum and instruction, science education, mathematics education, educational evaluation, educational statistics and research, educational administration, counseling psychology, educational technology, and other related fields. All articles must undergo peer review by at least two qualified reviewers from relevant fields and various institutions, regardless of their affiliation to the author (the number of reviewers has been reduced since January 27, 2026). The journal will not disclose the identities of the authors or the reviewers (double-blinded). The editorial board reserves the right to revise articles as deemed appropriate.
