Objectives of the journal

 Journal of Education Burapha University is a humanities and social science journal aiming to publish academic and research articles in education in both Thai and English, by scholars, faculty members, and students from higher education institutions and internal and external organizations.

Publication policy and scope.

Journal of Education Burapha University accepts academic articles and research articles in the fields of curriculum and instruction, science education, mathematics education, educational evaluation, educational statistics and research, educational administration, counseling psychology, educational technology, and other related fields.

Peer review of articles.

All articles must undergo peer review by at least two qualified reviewers from relevant fields and various institutions, regardless of their affiliation to the author (the number of reviewers has been reduced since January 27, 2026). The journal will not disclose the identities of the authors or the reviewers (double-blinded). The editorial board reserves the right to revise articles as deemed appropriate.

Journal publication date.

Three issues per year, as follows:

Issue No. 1, January - April

Issue No. 2, May – August

Issue No. 3, September – December

Article Submission Requirements

  1. This is a research article or academic article in the field of education/pedagogy, in either Thai or English.
  2. The article must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal.
  3. This article has a duplication level of no more than 20% as determined by the CopyCatch program in the TCI-THAIJO system.
  4. The article must be formatted according to the journal's specifications, and the submission form must be attached. The article title, full names, and affiliation of all authors must be clearly stated in both Thai and English, along with their email addresses.
  5. If an article is a translation or adaptation from a foreign language, written permission from the copyright holder must be attached. The editorial board of the Journal of Education Burapha University is not liable for any copyright infringement.
  6. The content, articles, or opinions published in this journal represent only the opinions of the authors; the editorial board does not necessarily agree with them.
  7. Submitted articles will be published in the Journal of Education Burapha University, after a peer review process by at least two experts in the relevant field and after the author has made revisions based on their suggestions (if any).
  8. Articles that are not accepted for publication will be notified to the author by the editorial board, but the manuscript will not be returned to the author.
  9. Authors are required to pay a submission fee of 3,500 baht per article for external authors and 2,500 baht per article for internal authors (First author or Corresponding author) at the time of manuscript submission. This fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the article is published or not.
  10. The editorial board reserves the right to refuse publication or withdraw an article if it does not meet the terms and conditions set by the journal.
  11. In the case of research articles, I have fully implemented systems and mechanisms to consider the ethical considerations of research in humans and experimental animals, in accordance with the research code of ethics.
  12. The article has only one corresponding author who coordinates with the editorial team and handles the submission of the article.

       1. General public or individuals outside the Faculty of Education, Burapha University 3,500 THB per article

       2. Faculty of Education Staff and Students, Burapha University  2,500 THB per article

Note**  

Payment is made after notification that the manuscript has passed the initial screening for alignment with the journal’s aims and scope and has entered the review process. If the manuscript is not accepted after review, the submission fee is non-refundable in all cases.
