The study on the Construction Model of Community Ecological Sustainability with Local Wisdom Base

Abstract

This article had the aim to study the learning process through the cooperation between school and community on reviving the community Ecological and local wisdom in order to build the sustainability of the community Ecological among the modern sociality. The importance was paid to the analysis of the forest Ecological having the association with people in the community from the past up to the present time whereas the methodology of grounded theory was applied. The research findings revealed that the sustainability of the community Ecological could not be achieved if people defined the nature only as the objective resource because the nature did not exist alone but had the association with the community lifestyle. The learning culture has been built through the biodiversity and resulted finally in the local wisdom. As long as the valuation of people toward the nature and environment focused only on the economic value, while the community lifestyle and local wisdom were underestimated as the obsoleteness, the true sustainability of the community Ecological could not be successfully achieved.
