Main Article Content
Abstract
This research study aims to: 1) Develop the Augmented Reality book to enhance learning
outcomes in science; Geosphere and Geological changes for Grade 11 students at the Sodsongkhla
School. 2) To Compare the academic achievement of Grade 11 students at the Sodsongkhla School
before and after utilizing the Augmented Reality book to enhance learning outcomes in science;
Geosphere and Geological changes for Grade 11 students at the Sodsongkhla School, to assess its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. 3) Evaluate the satisfaction of Grade 11 students at the Sodsongkhla School with the Augmented Reality book to enhance learning outcomes in science; Geosphere and Geological changes for Grade 11 students at the Sodsongkhla School. This Augmented Reality book, developed based on expert evaluations for educational efficiency, was piloted with a purposive sample of 13 students.
The research instruments utilized include: The Augmented Reality book, A lesson plan aligned with the book’s content, an academic achievement assessment tool, and A satisfaction survey measuring student responses to the Augmented Reality book. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test statistics. The research findings reveal that: The Augmented
Reality book demonstrated an effectiveness score of 87.50/82.22, meeting the 80/80 evaluation criteria; post-instruction academic achievement was significantly higher than pre-instruction scores at the 0.01 level; and Student satisfaction with the Augmented Reality book was rated as very high, with a mean score of 4.57 and a standard deviation of 0.16.
