The Development of Game on Mobile Application for Media Literacy of Primary Students under Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area

Abstract

The aims of this study were to 1) develop game on mobile application for media literacy in primary students of the secondary educational service area office Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and 2) study students’ satisfaction towards games on mobile application for media literacy. The sample group in this study was 34 students for grade 6 students by using cluster sampling. This study was divided into two phases, (i) study of learning context and problem that happened by using interviews and questionnaires to students and teachers and (ii) developing and studying the using games on mobile application for media literacy. The research tools consisted of 1) game on android mobile application for media literacy 2) quality and performance assessment
3) a structure interview form and 4) a satisfaction questionnaire. The statics method used to analyze
data were mean and standard.


The results showed that 1) the performance of content quality result was the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.70, S.D. = 0.46) and the performance of technical and design quality result was highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.65, S.D. = 0.48), and 2) overall of student’s satisfaction to games on mobile application for media literacy was the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.73, S.D. = 0.47). The conclude of results show that
games on mobile application for media literacy can be used to develop media literacy skills.
