From A New Paradigm of Leadership Theories to The Roles of School Leaders in Building School - Community Relations
Main Article Content
Abstract
In a culturally, linguistically, and religiously (CLR) diverse community, the roles of school administrators to make relationships between school and community are increasingly important but become more challenging. This article aims to present the administrators’ roles in building the school-community relations that respond to diverse cultures, languages, and religions of the community. These administrators’ roles are compatible with the CLR responsive school leadership concept. Moreover, the leadership concept is based on a new paradigm of leadership theories,
such as social justice leadership, community-based leadership, and inclusive leadership. Finally, the article indicates that understating these leadership concepts and theories could support school leaders to practice their roles in building school-community relations to be more CLR responsive.
