Development of Physical Education Curriculum to Develop Gross Muscle for Early Childhood

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to develop a physical education curriculum in order to develop gross muscle in early childhood which mainly aimed, first of all to study of information for constructing physical education curriculum for develop gross muscle for early childhood the second stage to develop and define the quality of the physical education curriculum to develop gross muscle in early childhood, respectively. Moreover, it was to understand the efficiency of physical education curriculum to develop gross muscle in early childhood. The samples for the focus group interview were the board of the institution, early childhood teachers, child occupational therapists, and early childhood tertiary lecturers. On the other hand, there were four hundred and seventy samples on experimentation with the physical education curriculum to develop gross muscle in early childhood. The data was analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, a t - test and a z - test.  The findings of this research were as follows: (1) The study of information for constructing physical education curriculum for develop gross muscle for early childhood consisted of 1) The physical education curriculum for early childhood, 2) The information is the context of the academy, 3) The teaching and learning management in early childhood and 4) The support teaching for early childhood (2) The physical education curriculum to develop gross muscle for early childhood consists of three fundamental movement skills: Non-Locomotor movement, Locomotor movement, and Neuro muscle coordination movement. (3) According to the results of the experiment on the physical education curriculum to develop gross muscle in early childhood found that the samples, the boys and girls from kindergarten schools trained in Non - Locomotor movement, Locomotor movement, and Neuro muscle coordination movement, physical efficiency in running, jumping, kicking, and throwing were different from the control group at a statistical significance of .05
