Area and Readiness for Cultural Tourism by Community A case study of Takuapa Old Town, Phang Nga Province

Abstract

This research was aimed to study the status and readiness of community cultural tourism management. Area of Takua Pa Old Town Qualitative research was used to collect data from in-depth interviews. And group discussion Using the concept of cultural tourism. Community tourism and space concepts. There were 14 participants from Stakeholders, including the monks providing historical information. Community Board And the relevant agencies and use non-participant observation by classifying, deciphering, interpreting, and creating conclusions. The results showed that there were two communities in the area, Thalad Yai and Senanus Rangsan community is based on historical sites Old and traditional architecture. The culture continues with the cooperation of the community. Sharing rain and thinking together, conservation of local culture. By using the power of the community to develop through participatory action research, the cultural tourism of Takuapa is continued
