Abstract

This study was considered a quantitative research that aimed to 1) analyse an exploratory factor of learning dynamics in top-tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region 2) investigate the level of learning dynamics in top-tier competitive secondary schools in
the lower southern region 3) study the level of effectiveness in top-tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region 4) examine the relationship between of learning dynamics and the effectiveness in top-tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region. A sample group used in the study comprises school administrators and teachers in top-tier competitive
secondary schools in the lower southern region. By considering the proportion of variables to the size of the sample group according to Hair et al. (1998) in the proportion of 1:20 per sample group which are 45 observed variables; the total number of samples was 900 people. The instrument employed in this study was a 5 point Likert scale questionnaire which has the reliability index at .947. Statistics in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. The data was analysed using exploratory factor analysis and Pearson product moment correlation.
The results of the analysis can be summarised 1) There were five factors of learning dynamics in top-tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region i.e.; reflection on action, exchanging for good practice, increasing personnel’s authority, the awareness of
organisation excellence development and the ability to  think holistically to accept the existing dynamic, 2) The overall learning dynamic in Top-Tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region was at a high level, 3) overall effectiveness of school administration in top-tier
competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region was at very high level and 4) components of learning dynamics and effectiveness In Top-Tier competitive secondary schools in the lower southern region was overall a high positive correlation (r=.758) with statistical significance at .01.
