PAST – PRESENT – FUTURE of TEACHER SPIRITUAL ENHANCEMENT

Abstract

Teacher training in the dynamic world was inevitably different from the past, the present
and the future, but still remained the qualification of knowledge, experience, academic mastery
and full of teacher spiritual. This study included content analysis and inductive summary that
showed the future of teacher higher education institute had to reform the process to create the
good teachers under of terms and conditions as: 1) Recruit : proper person 2) Retain : love and
dedicate of the good teachers 3) Reinforce : the competency system of the working unit 4) Creativity :
course and activity of teacher spiritual enhancement 5) Community : the responsibility for
community and 6) Collaboration : the developing by the teacher leadership manner and work
with the others. So, the principle of education also had to change from the past was “Teacher
centered”, to the present was “Student centered”, then to the “Learning community” in the future.
