Essential Techniques for Effective Curriculum Management

Abstract
The key missions of curriculum management consist of curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. The success of these missions depend on key factors of 1) the program executive who is responsible for curriculum goal-setting and direction in comprehensive program curriculum development and implementation and 2) the curriculum development that needs to establish agency and committee consisting of related expertise such as the program director, content head group, unit head, and teachers. The process of curriculum personnel selection has to focus on the recruitment of curriculum leader who can work with others and possesses the ability to team - work building that recognizes their role and burden in curriculum development. The five methods for representation selection for curriculum development are voluntary, evolvement, peer and
administrative selection in the form of council. Council members should recognize of mission, vision, philosophy, rational statements, program goals, learning outcomes, learning activities, assessment and supplements. There are six techniques for reaching consensus of those considerations - The Dialogue Techniques, The Delphi Technique, The Fishbowl Technique, The Telstar Technique, The Nominal Group Technique and the proposed technique of the author. The curriculum leaders, developer and the involved parties can beneficial use or apply each methods while considering the advantages and disadvantages to formulate systematic curriculum.
