Factors Influencing Health Promoting Behaviors of Teachers under the Supervision of the Primary Educational Service Area, Pattani Province

Abstract
The research aimed to study factors Influencing health promoting behaviors of teachers under the supervision of the primary educational service area, Pattani province. The sample sizes were consisted of 302 teachers, in which they were calculated using G*power. The samples were randomly chosen by multi stage random sampling technique. The research instrument was the questionnaires with multiple choices and five - level - rating scales. Data were analyzed using means, standard deviations and multiple regression analysis by stepwise method. The results found that sex (β = .573, p<.001), having an underlying disease (β = -.122, p = .008), perceived barriers (β = .129, p = .004), perceived benefits (β =.114, p = .012) and Influenced of unrest situation (β = .110, p = .015) could predict health promoting behaviors of teachers at the significant level of .05 . All five variables could predict health promoting behaviors of teachers by 41.70 percent (Adjusted R2 = .417) with the standard error of predict of .458
