การพัฒนาและศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมนันทนาการต่อทักษะการบริหารจัดการหน้าที่ของสมองในเด็กปฐมวัย

บทคัดย่อ
ในช่วงวัยปฐมวัย สมองของเด็กมีการเจริญเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว การส่งเสริมพัฒนาการด้านการบริหารจัดการหน้าที่ของสมอง (Executive Functions: EF) จึงมีความสำคัญต่อการเรียนรู้ การควบคุมตนเอง และการปรับตัวในสังคม การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาโปรแกรมนันทนาการที่ส่งผลต่อทักษะ EF ในเด็กปฐมวัย และ 2) ศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมนันทนาการต่อทักษะ EF ของเด็กปฐมวัย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ เด็กปฐมวัยอายุ 4-6 ปี จำนวน 60 คน สังกัดศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบางเมือง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบจับคู่ (Match-paired Sampling) แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 30 คน และกลุ่มควบคุม 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แบบประเมินทักษะ EF 4 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการยืดหยุ่นความคิด ด้านการใส่ใจจดจ่อ ด้านการริเริ่มและลงมือทำ และด้านการวางแผนและดำเนินการ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นของผู้ประเมิน (ICC) เท่ากับ 0.78 2) โปรแกรมนันทนาการที่พัฒนาทักษะ EF ในเด็กปฐมวัยที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความเที่ยงตรงเชิงเนื้อหาและความเหมาะสมในระดับสูง และ 3) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการบริหารจัดการหน้าที่ของสมองของเด็กปฐมวัย มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.96 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการทดสอบค่าทีแบบกลุ่มสัมพันธ์กัน (Dependent t-test) และแบบกลุ่มเป็นอิสระต่อกัน (Independent t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) โปรแกรมนันทนาการที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความเหมาะสมที่จะนำไปใช้ในการพัฒนาทักษะ EF ในเด็กปฐมวัย และ 2) ภายหลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม กลุ่มทดลองมีทักษะ EF ในภาพรวมและรายด้านทุกด้าน อยู่ในเกณฑ์ระดับดี (x̄ = 2.98, S.D. = 0.04) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบระหว่างกลุ่ม พบว่ากลุ่มทดลองมีทักษะ EF สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 สรุปได้ว่า โปรแกรมนันทนาการฯ มีผลต่อการพัฒนาทักษะ EF ในเด็กปฐมวัย มีความเหมาะสมสำหรับการประยุกต์ใช้ในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กหรือโรงเรียนปฐมวัยในบริบทที่หลากหลาย และควรส่งเสริมให้ครูและผู้ดูแลเด็กนำกิจกรรมไปใช้อย่างเป็นระบบ และควรมีการพัฒนาโปรแกรมให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของกลุ่มเด็กที่หลากหลายเพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาการในระยะยาว
