The Effects of Self-Efficacy and Social Support Promotion Program on Knowledge Health Behavior and Weight Reduction of Undergraduate students at Thailand National Sport University in yala campus.

Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effects of self-effcacy and social support promotion programs on knowledge health behavior and weight reduction of undergraduate students at Thailand National Sport University, Yala campus those who are overweight conducting before and after participating in the activity. The participants of the study were 60 overweight and volunteered undergraduate students. This research is quasi-experimental and they were divided into two groups, experimental and controlled groups. The data was collected before and after the experiment. Ten weeks of the experiment were conducted by the experimental group in to compare the effects of the activity management of the control group. The statistics used in
the present study were basic statistics including standard deviation, means, and Independent t-test.
The findings revealed that health promotion activity management by applying self-efficacy with social support theories which was developed by the researcher can be applied with overweight undergraduate students. The finding also showed that the participants of the experimental group khow about obesity and health promotion. The weight of the participants of experimental group and the controlled group were significantly different (.01). In addition, the perception about selfefficacy on health promotion of the participants of the experimental group and the controlled group were also significantly different (.05). The expectation of the effects of health promotion and social support were not different resulting the participants of the controlled group have significantly better health promotion behavior and body weight reduced.
