Non formal and Informal education needs of the Learners in Pattani Province

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the learners’ needs of Non formal and Informal education in Pattani Province, including, the basic education level of non-formal education, continuing education, and informal education. The simples were 393 learners who were fifteen years old and above from non-formal education and informal education in Pattani province, selected proportionally from the number of district in Pattani province by using cookies sampling and complex random sampling methodology. After that, determined the samples size by using the Yamane formula and divided learners by using stratified random sampling. The research instruments used were questionnaires for non formal and informal education needs of learner in Pattani province. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research revealed that (1) Male and female learners in non-formal and informal education had needs differently significant at the 0.1 level. The average female needs were higher than male. (2) To consider individually, the learners’ needs in basic education level of Non-Formal Education, continuing education, and informal education were dissimilarity significant at the 0.1 level.
