The landscape guideline Design of Khokkoo-samphankha temple for conservation and promotion of cultural tourism.

Abstract

The purposes of the landscape guideline design of Khokkoo-samphanka temple for conservation and promotion of cultural tourism at Nong Khu Khat sub-district, Borabue district, Maha Sarakham province are to design the landscape from cultural ecology element and the condition of Buddhawas zone, Sangkhawas zone, and other zone that relate to archaeological site with having a registration for being a conservation area of the 9^th Regional Office of Fine Arts, and to promote Khokkoo area and neighborhood for being cultural tourist attraction. The result of the study is, the inside area of Khokkoo-samphanka temple is consisted of 3 parts. There are Sangkhawas zone (the residential area for monks) and Buddhawas zone (the religious and ceremonial area), archaeological site, and community forest. Moreover, suspended and demolished buildings are found in the conservation area. From the result, it could be the guideline that Sangkhawas zone should be peaceful and quiet area, and community forest should insert cultural and natural knowledge for being a model.
