Guidelines for Improving the Competitiveness of Organic Products in Thailand

This research aims 1) To study the conditions and needs in developing the competitive potential of organic product businesses in Thailand and 2) To study the direction of the competitiveness of the organic product business in Thai society. This research was a quantitative analysis. The population is 538 (Organic Agriculture Standards Office, 2022) establishments in the organic product business in Thailand that had been certified with organic product standards. The simple random Sample Sampling method. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used were descriptive statistics, including frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results found that most of the entrepreneurs who answered the questionnaire were in the form of limited companies (95.39%). The business size was mostly medium-sized (53.80%). The type of organic products was mostly organic food (53.80%). The duration of the business was mostly 6-10 years (38.50%). The guidelines for developed the competitive potential of organic product businesses in Thailand, when considered each aspect in order from most to least, were as follows: The most was innovation, followed by green supply chain management and cooperation, respectively.
