Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction and satisfaction levels measurement of the 1st - 4th-year students and the instructors, the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Program, Faculty of Management Science, Buriram Rajabhat University in developing the program curriculum. Purposive sampling technique and questionnaires were used with 189 sample sizes of the 1st - 4th-year in tourism and hospitality program, and five instructors involved in the program curriculum.
The study results revealed the satisfaction assessment of the students towards the curriculum in all aspects sorted by the highest satisfaction level, including the curriculum with an average of 4.92, the Instructors and the Measurement and Assessment average is equal to 4.91. A learning environment with an average of 4.90, Learning throughout the curriculum developed the student's characteristics with an average of 4.81, and Teaching and learning management with an average of 4.80, respectively. Meanwhile, the instructors' study results revealed the satisfaction assessment towards the curriculum had an average of 5.00 at the highest level. Followed by the Learning support has an average of 4.99 at the highest level, the Administrations, Instructors Development, Teaching and Learning Process, and Evaluation was at the average of 4.97, at the highest level. Students had an average of 4.88 at the highest level, respectively.
Student suggestions include the need to collect studying time or practice part-time experiences that are not internships in the airport, tour company, restaurant, or hotel. And the requirements of a kitchen laboratory and foreign language courses, such as Korean, Chinese, and so on. The instructors suggested that the university should allocate budgets and set policies for instructors to attend short-term vocational courses abroad for 1-3 months. Moreover, there was the requirement of the personnel who have knowledge and expertise in foreign languages other than English, such as Chinese, Russian, Korean, in encouraging academic relations internationally. For example, inviting special speakers to give students the knowledge to enhance their potential and other language skills.
