Research and Development of Teachers Through Professional Learning Communities via Research-based

Abstract

Research and development of teachers through professional learning communities, via research-based of the Faculty of Education Buriram Rajabhat University aimed to study the context of the targeted schools, to develop teachers through professional learning communities via research-based, and to study the development results with the target group. Target groups included educational funds schools and school networks. The research found that;

• The study of the context of the school found that the teachers had variety

responsibilities, lacked of opportunity to exchange with each other. Some schools consisted of executives who made a great contribution to work. There were senior teachers and junior teachers who had got a lot of work responsibilities, sharing works clearly

• The results of the teacher development showed that the teachers together set the

goal of learning management which needed to occur with the learners, teachers found out what the students were interested in to design a learning activity, teachers shared a common problem-solving approach to problem solving, and teachers who taught the same or similar subjects, selected the content to plan, design, and manage learning activities.

• Assessment of the progress of the professional learning community by supervising

the work of teachers in a systematic way which was the tools for learning and improving the performance and development of teachers regularly and continuously.
