Since the foundation of the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 to establish the Common Foreign and Security Policy to manage the international crisis, European Union’s foreign policy has become skepticism. Partly due to its unanimity decision that impede the effectiveness of CFSP. However, the successfulness of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has paved way for EU’s recognition as an International actor. Thus, this has led to my research question as why European Union which is dominated by large 3 nations like France, Germany and United Kingdom has come into commonality. Hence, I assumed that the national interest such as economic and security interest have enabled this nuclear deal.
