Transformational Leadership of Government Primary School Administrators to the Opinions of Teachers in the Thai- Malaysian Border Area Narathiwat Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study levels and to compare the transformational leadership of primary government school administrators to the opinions of teachers in Thai-Malaysian border area, Narathiwat province. The variables used in this study were gender, work experiences and school sizes. Moreover, recommendations for the development of transformational leadership of school administrators were compiled. The sample obtained 331 teachers. The data collection tools were a rating scale questionnaire with open-ended questions. The confidence was at the level of 0.97. Data were analyzed using a packaged program. The statistics were the percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, T-test and F-test. If differences were found the Scheffe's
method was analyzed.
 
The Independent research found that 1) Overall, the level of transformational leadership of government primary school administrators to the opinions of teachers in the Thai-Malaysian border area, Narathiwat province was at a high level. 2) The comparison of transformational leadership of government primary school administrators to the opinions of teachers in the ThaiMalaysian border area, Narathiwat province classified by gender and work experiences. The overall and individual aspects were not different except the intellectual stimulation aspect was significantly different at the .05 level. School sizes, overall and individual aspects were not different.
