Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to construct the learning activity package using Predict - Observe - Explain (POE) teaching method to promote learning of Natural Rubber for high school students in the upper secondary level which had the efficiency of 80/80 2) to compare the learning achievement of student before and after using learning activity package and 3) to study the students’ satisfaction toward the learning activity package. The samples of this research were 29 Matthayomsuksa 4/1 students in Damrongratsongkroh School, Chiang Rai province. The research design pattern of this study was Experimental Design as One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. The instrument using for experiment included 5 Plans, 20 hours and 5 learning packages. The instrument using for data collection included Achievement Test, its item difficulty was between 0.41–0.72, and item discrimination was between 0.38-0.65, and reliability (KR-20) was 0.91, and Index of Item Objective Congruence was 1 and satisfaction of the students test reliability was 0.80. The statistical value used in this study, included the mean, percentage, standard deviation and t - test value.  The results were as follow : 1) The effective of this learning activity packages had value of 86.09/85.98 which was higher than the criteria set, 80/80. 2) The statistically significant difference of learning achievement of students at the level of 0.05 for pre - and post - instruction. 3) The satisfaction of the students who had learnt with this learning activity packages a good level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.53, S.D. = 0.03)
