Results of swimming activities Based on Simpson’s practical skills developing concept for grade 6 students Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were 1) Comparison of academic achievement of pre- and post-school students who received swimming activities. Based on the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson. For students in grade 6 at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School 2) Learn about the students' swimming practice skills after lessons that have been organized swimming activities. compared to the 70% criteria 3) To study the satisfaction of Prathomsuksa 6 students at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School towards swimming activities.

           The sample consisted of students in grade 6/2 at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School. Office of the Higher Education Commission Ministry of Science, Research and Innovation, Academic Year 2021, 29 people were obtained by Cluster Random Sampling, using the classroom as a random sampling unit. Research tools are 1) swimming activity plan According to the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson, a total of 12 plans 2) Swimming learning achievement test Based on the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson. For grade 6 students, there is a multiple-choice type of 4 choice answering type 50. 3) a 7-item swimming practice skill assessment form, and 4) Questionnaire on satisfaction with learning by organizing swimming activities Based on the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson. It is characterized as a scale of estimation on 5 levels of 10 items. The statistics used in the data analysis are percentage, mean, standard deviation. and hypothesis testing with Dependent Samples t-test statistics.

          The research results were as follow:

          1) Academic achievement of pre- and post-study students who received swimming activities Based on the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson. For students in grade 6 at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School After studying, it was significantly higher than before at the .05 level.

          2) Students practice swimming skills after learning with swimming activities. Based on the concept of developing practical skills of Simpson. For students in grade 6 at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School pass all criteria.

          3) Students are satisfied with their studies by organizing swimming activities. Based on the concept of developing practical skills of the Simpsons. For students in grade 6 at Buriram Rajabhat University Demonstration School at a high level ( = 4.15, S.D. = 0.94).
