The research involved four professional voice instructors and opera performers with expertise in Chinese national opera. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, expert evaluations, and performance observations, using interview protocols, expert evaluation forms, and a performance analysis rubric.Thematic content analysis and cross-case comparison were employed to identify recurring patterns and insights.

The findings revealed that the aria requires advanced vocal techniques, including smooth register transitions, breath support, and tonal modulation. A distinctive stylistic feature is the integration of Chinese folk singing elements with Western bel canto. The character’s emotional journey from nostalgia and sorrow to internal conflict and heroic determination demands expressive vocal coloring, dynamic phrasing, and dramatic contrast. Structurally, the aria unfolds through lyrical and dramatic phases shaped by tempo, rhythm, and orchestration. Based on expert perspectives, performance guidelines were proposed, focusing on resonance adjustment, diction clarity, emotional pacing, coordinated movement, and facial expression. Stage elements such as lighting, props, and chorus interaction were also emphasized. These results provide a framework for singers, educators, and directors to achieve both technical precision and emotional depth.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ https://so02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bruj/article/view/278998 A Study of Singing Techniques and Performance Practices in the Role of “Giorgio Germont” in Verdi’s Opera La Traviata 2025-08-28T15:21:46+07:00 Wang Yuxian akachai.tp@bru.ac.th Panasin Sriveset akachai.tp@bru.ac.th Akachai Teerapusksiri akachai.tp@bru.ac.th
This study aims (1) to study and analyze the singing techniques and performance of the role of Giorgio Germont in Giuseppe Verdi’s opera La Traviata, and (2) to examine practice guidelines for singing and performing this role. The interpretation of opera characters requires careful attention to arias, recitatives, and ensembles, which together shape both musical and dramatic identity. Singers must therefore analyze every vocal passage of a character while also exploring representations of the character across other artistic forms to deepen understanding of personality and imagery. Such a study not only strengthens artistic cultivation but also refines interpretative skills. Taking Germont as the research object, this study applies vocal pedagogy and dramatic theory to systematically analyze the baritone role’s dual demands in vocal technique and stage expression. Verdi’s writing requires complete mastery of breath control, tonal stability, and phrasing, while also demanding expressive nuance to convey the tension between Germont’s authority as an enforcer of patriarchal values and his vulnerability in moral dilemmas.

The findings provide a framework for linking vocal technique with character portrayal, offering practice guidelines that integrate musical precision with dramatic depth. This research contributes theoretical insight and practical value to vocal teaching, rehearsal strategies, and operatic stage performance.
2025-12-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ https://so02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bruj/article/view/282966 Guidelines for the Development of the Bachelor of Science Program in Architectural Technology at Buriram Rajabhat University 2026-01-22T11:23:45+07:00 Piyachon Sangsakda piyachon.ss@bru.ac.th Sombat Prajonsant sombat.pj@bru.ac.th
This research reviews input data and feedback from stakeholders, serving as the first step in developing an outcome-based curriculum. The sample consisted of 525 passengers who had previously traveled domestically, selected through convenience sampling. The research instrument used was an online questionnaire. The findings revealed that 77.52% of the passengers had used online check-in applications, with the highest usage reported for Thai AirAsia. Passengers predominantly preferred to check in more than 6 hours prior to departure. The most frequently encountered problems included system instability, complicated procedures, and a lack of confidence in the outcome of the application-based check-in. The majority of passengers held a neutral attitude toward using the applications, indicating that their user experience had not created a distinctly positive or negative impression. Passengers’ suggestions focused on improving system stability and speed, reducing the number of steps required, and implementing automatic notification systems along with immediate support channels to enhance convenience and build greater confidence. The results of this study can be utilized as a guideline for developing more efficient airline online check-in applications that better respond to passengers’ expectations.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ https://so02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bruj/article/view/284345 Teaching University English in the AI Age: A Learning Model That Cuts Time, Increases Results, and Accelerates Skill Development 2026-01-22T12:26:27+07:00 chalikarn janthajumrusrat krat.ded2@gmail.com Napattarakrit Chunthawong napattarakrit.c@dru.ac.th
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution, particularly the advent of Large Language Models (LLMs), has driven a significant structural transition in English language teaching within higher education. This article aims to analyze AI concepts, theories, and technologies relevant to modern English language instruction and proposes a systemic framework for Thai universities through the “AI-Accelerated ELT Framework.” This model integrates Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), Flipped Classroom, and Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) with technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), Automated Writing Evaluation (AWE), and Generative AI.

A review of the literature indicates that AI can support personalized learning, automated content adaptation, and real-time feedback, enabling learners to develop language fluency more rapidly and significantly reducing the burdens of traditional learning. However, the use of AI still faces limitations regarding data accuracy (hallucinations), data privacy, and the risks of over-reliance. Consequently, this article proposes ethical and “human-in-the-loop” approaches to AI utilization, alongside policy recommendations for AI literacy for both instructors and learners, to ensure that AI applications in Thai universities are maximized and sustainable.
2026-03-17T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์
