The Curriculum Evaluation of the Bachelor of Education Programme in Music Education, Faculty of Education, Buriram Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purpose of this research aimed: 1) to evaluate the Bachelor of Education programme
in Music Education, Faculty of Education, Buriram Rajabhat University, curriculum context,
curriculum management and learning and teaching facilities. 2) to study guidelines of improvement and
development of programme evaluation of the bachelor education in music education, faculty of
education, Buriram Rajabhat University. The research tools were questionnaires and interviews.
The data were analyzed by mean and also percentage content analysis. The population included
6 curriculum committees, 22 lecturers, 120 undergraduate students and 57 graduates.
The results of the research found that:
For the context of the curriculum, philosophy and objectives of the curriculum were
conformed to the Bachelor of Education in Music Education programme, faculty of education,
Buriram Rajabhat University. For the curriculum management has well-prepared for supporting
and developing to lecturers. For students, the curriculum has system and good process for
recruiting new students and projects to develop and enhance current students and new comers.
For learning and teaching facilities, the curriculum has suffciently provided.
The ways of development and improvement the Bachelor of Education in Music Education
programme faculty of education, Buriram Rajabhat University , should continually survey the
satisfaction and demand from our targets whom would like to study the higher education with
the Bachelor of Education in Music Education programme faculty of education, Buriram Rajabhat
University to know the change of the society currently need. The curriculum have to observe
the satisfaction of employers about the desirable characteristics of labor market demand.
