Abstract

This article is aimed to present the process of building collaboration in Sri Chan District, Khon Kaen City where all the sections are strongly collaborated. The main aims are 1) to investigate the process of building collaboration in the dimension of promoting people's interaction in Sri Chan District and 2) to propose the ways to promote the process of building the collaboration from the happening phenomenon. The study was conducted by investigating phenomenon and progress of collaboration of people in Khon Kaen City and specifically interviewing the related people. It was found that the pattern of the long history of collaboration and the co-creative process, as well as the designative thinking process have built good collaboration. The lack of strong supports of public section has caused the inefficient development. It was also found that people in the community has a minor role in collaboration due to the lack of collaboration system which allows them to play equal role in developing Sri Chan District. It was suggested that the collaboration of both public sections and local sections is required to implement the sense of belonging in the locals for sustainable collaboration in the future.
