As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
Write the manuscript using Microsoft Word, with a length not exceeding 15 pages of A4 size paper. Save the file in .doc or .rtf format.
The manuscript should be typed using a word processor, with appropriate line spacing and formatted for printing on 8.5" x 11" (or A4) size paper.)
The entitled of the manuscript should be provided in both Thai and English.
The title, academic or professional affiliation, position, and email address of the author(s), along with the contact information of all co-authors, should be clearly provided.
The abstract should be limited to a maximum of 250 words, offering a concise summary of the key aspects of the article within the relevant discipline. It should emphasize the architectural, design, or construction implications and benefits derived from the research or study.
Keywords: 3-5 terms
The main sections of the article should include:
Introduction,
Objectives,
Literature Review,
Conceptual Framework,
Research Methods (Materials and Methods),
Results,
Conclusion and Discussion,
Recommendations,
References,
and Acknowledgments (optional).
If the research has been funded by an external source, the funding agency should be acknowledged in this section.
All references must be complete, accurately verified, and arranged in alphabetical order. Citations should strictly adhere to the APA 7th edition referencing style.
In-text citations should follow the author-date-page system, with references placed at the end of the relevant sentence. The format should be (Author’s Name, Year of Publication, Page Number).
Show evidence of the plagiarism check for academic work.
Ethical approval documentation (if applicable) should be provided.
The manuscript should be a research or academic article with a length not exceeding 15 pages on A4 paper, following the formatted according to JADC03-Template (5x18.5), which can be downloaded here: https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/Jadc/index
The manuscript must not be under consideration for publication by any other publication or have been previously published in any journal. It must not infringe on any copyrights, nor should it involve plagiarism or the unauthorized use of others' research.
All sources must be appropriately cited, following the APA 7th edition referencing style. Both Thai and English text should be written in the TH Sarabun PSK font, with the following font size specifications: 1. The article title should be in bold with a font size of 18 pt. 2. The author's name should be in regular font with a size of 16 pt 3. Main headings should be in bold with a font size of 14 pt. 4. Subheadings should be in italic font with a size of 14 pt. 5. The content under main headings and subheadings should be in regular font with a size of 14 pt. 6. The content within tables should be in regular font with a size of 14 pt.
Submission Process Since JADC is an online journal, please submit your manuscript for publication following these steps: 1. Prepare the manuscript file according to the manuscript preparation guidelines. 2. The author should submit the final manuscript and image files used in the article via email to Jadcarch@msu.ac.th for the editorial team’s initial review. 3. Register as a member by accessing the website https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/Jadc/index. Follow the initial instructions for using the ThaiJO 2.0 system (for authors), which include the following steps: 3.1 Register for journal membership (Author Register): For users who do not have a Username or Password in the ThaiJO system. 3.2 Manuscript submission 3.3 Wait for the status review and acceptance/rejection notification via email or the ThaiJO system.
Criteria for Manuscripts Evaluation 1. Research and academic articles will undergo an initial evaluation by the journal’s editorial team, assessing both the quality of the manuscript and its compliance with JADC's formatting guidelines. If the article does not meet the required standards, it will not proceed to the next stage, or the author may be asked to make revisions. Articles that meet the necessary quality standards will be forwarded for peer review to at least three reviewers, chosen based on their expertise in the relevant field. This step typically takes approximately 15 working days. 2. Once the reviewers have completed their review, the editorial team will inform you of the outcome. 3. If revisions are required based on the reviewers' suggestions, the author must address the necessary changes. Failure to do so will result in the manuscript not being published. The revision process should be completed within 15 working days.
