Publication Ethics
Ethical Guidelines for Editors
1. The manuscript’s content should be evaluated for its relevance and alignment with the journal's objectives, as well as its potential contributions to the field, ensuring transparency throughout the review process.
2. The evaluation, screening, and feedback on submitted manuscripts must be carried out impartially, without bias or personal interest.
3. The editor's decision to accept or reject a manuscript should be based on the article's quality, clarity, and its alignment with the scope and policies of the journal.
4. The editor's decision should be driven primarily by the academic integrity and quality of the article, considering both its clarity and its relevance to the journal's focus and standards.
5. Editors should be open to providing constructive feedback for revisions, ensuring transparency in the process, and, if necessary, retracting or issuing an apology for any mistakes or misjudgments.
Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers in Manuscript Evaluation
1. Reviewers are responsible for assessing the accuracy, clarity, and academic rigor of the manuscript content, ensuring its alignment with established academic standards.
2. The evaluation process involves assigning scores based on predefined criteria, accompanied by a recommendation regarding the manuscript's suitability for publication—whether it should be accepted without revision, accepted with revisions, or rejected.
3. Once receiving the author's revisions, the manuscript will be re-evaluated by the reviewer, who will provide written feedback to the editorial board to assist in the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection for publication.
Ethical Guidelines for Authors
1. Ensure that the submitted manuscript is an original work and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
2. Guarantee that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication in any other journal or publication at the time of submission.
3. Confirm that the manuscript does not involve plagiarism, with all sources appropriately cited whenever the work of others is referenced or incorporated into the article.
4. Accurately report research findings, refraining from distorting data or presenting false information.
5. Avoid disseminating or publishing the manuscript in any other source after it has been published in the journal.
6. Ensure that the authors listed in the manuscript have genuinely contributed to the research and writing process.
7. Disclose any funding sources that supported the academic work (if applicable).
8. Present the manuscript in strict adherence to the journal’s submission guidelines and criteria for evaluation.
