Nakhonratchasima Historical Study from Historical Photograph : Koratian Web Application

Abstract

Koratian is a website created for collecting data of historical photographs in Nakhon Ratchasima Province related to the geographic coordinate system. The users can approach, delete, or edit data as other social media. The Koratian Web Application aims to develop the database of the historical photographs in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, to develop and to establish an online community and online learning centre of Nakhon Ratchasima history. The Design Thinking Processes which are the following: to empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test are used to gather the information on the Koratian Web Application. The first version of the application had problems and needed to improve the speed of the website. Moreover, the users must sign in every time they log-in to the website. Some users can not pin the coordinate of the historical photograph. They suggested posting information and activities on Facebook Fan Page or have a photo contest. The next stage is developing the website as a mobile application.
