Journal of National Educational Testing and Assessment

The journal is issued semiannual and published by National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS. It disseminates knowledge, research studies, and educational testing innovations, including technical measuring and assessment. It is a valued channel for building public relations and practically promoting academic works to public areas for educational officers, researchers, academicians, and interested persons.

Objectives

          1) It disseminated research studies, articles, innovations of the national educational testing and assessment conducted by researchers, academicians, and students.

          2) It is an academic document conveying knowledge related the national educational testing and assessment which can be reliable sources for making references. 

Publication Frequency: The journal is scheduled to be issued biannually

The first issue:           January to June

The second issue:      July to December

Focus & scope: Research articles, academic articles, book reviews, review articles, and lesson-learned or Q&A based articles related to testing, assessment, measurement and evaluation, educational policies, and quality assurance. Moreover, there are test administration services, educational measurement and evaluation, innovations in testing systems, measurement and assessment, and techniques in educational measurement and assessment; articles in relevant educational disciplines that contribute to the knowledge in the field of educational measurement and assessment.

Peer Review Process: All submitted articles must have been reviewed by distinguished specialist in related fields (peer review) at least 3 persons in a manner of double – blind peer review (reviewer and author do not know the name of each other) and be approved by editor team.

Journal policy: The editor team considers articles in the field of the national educational testing and assessment.

Languages: Thai and English

The journal is opened to public freely in order to enhance knowledge from exchanging of ideas and practices between policy makers and practitioners at both the national and international levels. The published content is under the authority of an editorial department.
