20 Years of National Strategy: Educational Measurement and Evaluation Issue

Abstract

The 20-year national strategy is a national development plan that sets a framework and development guidelines for government agencies to follow in order to achieve Thailand's vision. This article presents the linkage between the 20-year national strategy and the lower-level plan. It also highlights the connection to the implementation of the mission of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization). The institute's mission is to manage and operate education, conduct research, develop and provide educational assessments and testing services continuously. Additionally, it serves as a center for cooperation in educational testing at both national and international levels. The article also presents the process of preparing the annual action plan of NIETS, providing readers with a clear picture of how policy is transferred into practice.
