Abstract

This Article is presenting the result of the life and works of Jeremias van Vliet. He’s a merchant of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) as travel came to Siam and residence in Ayutthaya in the 17th century. When Netherlands help save Ayutthaya in King Prasatthong reign in the war of Ayutthaya between Pattani. At the result of the good relationship between Siam and Dutch. And Jeremias van Vliet is favorite to King Prasatthong. During Jeremias van Vliet stayed in Ayutthaya, He’s wrote Oral History as reflecting the view of the court along with the peoples in Ayutthaya Society.
