The Relationship between Administrator’s Skills in the 21st Century and Academic Administration of Schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract

This research objectives were 1)  to study the level of administrator’s skills in the 21st century,   2)  to study the level of academic administration in schools, and  3)  to study the relationship between administrator’s skills in the 21st century and the academic administration of schools affiliated with the Office of Sisake’s Primary Education Area Region 4.  The research sample included 200 participants, consisting of 100 school administrators and 100 academic supervisors.  The sample size was determined by the Krejcie and Morgan table (Krejcie & Morgan) with a purposive random sampling method.  The research tools were questionnaires on the administrator’s skills in the 21st century and the academic administration in schools affiliated with the Office of Sisaket’s  Primary Education Area Region 4.  Statistical analyses  included percentage, mean, standard deviation and  Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient.

The research findings were the following:

           1.The administrator’s skills in the 21st century were at a high level.

           2.The academic administration in schools was at a high level.

           3.There was a significant positive correlation (rxy =.836) at the 0.05 significance level between the administrator’s skills in the 21st century and the academic administration of schools.
