Analytic Geometry and René Descartes’ Rule of Signs
Keywords:

In the academic article Explaining Analytic Geometry and René Descartes’ Rule of Signs, René Descartes showed many methods of transforming problems in geometry. This is an important part of modern mathematics although the work in this section Descartes intended this to be used only as an example in his Discourse on Method. Divided ideas or concepts originated the concepts of analytic geometry and Descartes’ Rule of Signs. Arising from Descartes' imagination lying on the bed, he saw a fly crawling on the ceiling. Descartes showed that the position of every point on the Cartesian coordinate plane can also be valid in three-dimensional space (in which the Z-axis and Z-coordinates are added) or in higher dimensions. Later, the rules of markings were invented. Which deals with the actual solutions of the equation and polynomials with real coefficients; Text in Descartes' Rule of Signs We sort the terms of the polynomial from descending powers. Terms with 0 coefficients are not written and the constant is nonzero. There is a variation of sign in P(x) when adjacent coefficients have different signs. And the constant is not equal to 0.
However, the authors notice that Analytic Geometry and René Descartes’ Rule of Signs; it is similar in principle to Descartes' rationalism. Because in the end, it is about finding the truth that is hidden in different situations.
