Asoka the Great ’s Dhammavijaya Principle

The result of the study found that the great King Asoka principle of Dhammavichaiya was to win without any harmfulness and attraction. When the King Asoka was convinced to observe the Buddha-Dhamma, he was in mindful and played much attention to ruling the country with Dhammavichaiya policy in every aspects. On this account, his people were very happy, especially the practice of giving the things preparing for the poor, for forgivingness and mindfulness. The great king Asoka wholeheartedly concerned on the propagation of Buddhism, the practice of righteous acted toward each other. Obviously, he himself hold the propagation of Avihingsa-metta (non-violence).
Now, for the gradual development of the great King Asoka principle of Dhammavichaiya playing the influence to the Thai monarchy. Evidently, the Kings of Thailand were abided and accordingly practiced the principles of being mindfulness, forgivingness, be compassionated, and being patient to the unwholesome. Moreover, they also supported Buddhism as the great King Asoka did, craving the Buddhist teachings on the rocks, writing and recording the Buddhist teaching to the texts, and be good example for the lay Buddhists. Therefore, the king Asoka principle of Dhammavichaiya could be concluded that it was mainly applied by the Thai Kings on the account of ruling the country and model of the ways to support Buddhism from the long history until today.
