บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้ศึกษาลักษณะหรือรูปแบบข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลโครงสร้าง present participial phrases ในการแปลภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาไทย ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้ข้อมูลจากแบบทดสอบการแปลจากตัวอย่างจำนวน 230 คน ซึ่งเป็นนิสิตสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา โดยมุ่งอธิบายให้เห็นลักษณะหรือรูปแบบข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลด้วยการแสดงโครงสร้างภาษาที่ปรากฏในฉบับแปล ผลการวิจัยพบลักษณะข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลโครงสร้าง present participial phrases 7 รูปแบบ ได้แก่
1) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย independent clauses
2) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย adverbial clauses
3) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย adjective clauses
4) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย noun phrases
5) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย adverbial phrases
6) การถ่ายทอดความหมาย present participial phrases ด้วย verb phrases และ
7) คำแสดงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหน่วยความคิดที่ปรากฏผิดตำแหน่งจากต้นฉบับ ลักษณะข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลดังกล่าวอธิบายได้ด้วยโครงสร้างของภาษาฉบับแปล
