Abstract

     The study was created to examine the motivation behind Thai worker choosing to immigrate to the Republic of Korea and to also look at how the immigrants found the application process and the selection procedure. The survey had been distributed to the sample group among 400 Thai worker who want to immigrate to the Republic of Korea all over Thailand by using Common Size Analysis, Arithmetic Mean, and One-Way Anova. The majority of the sample group were males whose ages were between 25 and 30 years old, whose salaries were lower or equal to 10,000 Baht, and whose statuses were single, divorced, or separated. The sample groups were equally and randomly selected by each type of career that the worker wanted to perform in the Republic of Korea. The motivation of immigrating to the Republic of Korea would be presented by the highest to the lowest Arithmetic Mean which means the stability of job, income and benefits, personal development, job opportunity, and job value would be shown respectively.


     The results showed that different age groups had different motivation about developing and growing opportunity, outcome benefit including opinion about applying period. Worker group divided by salary and benefits had different in every motivation and opinion of every applying step. Marital status made different motivations in job description, growing opportunity, including opinion of convenience in applying and recruiting criteria. The diversity of careers made different motivation about job description and developing opportunity including opinion about communication channel, applying period and recruiting criteria.
