Peer Review Process
The Journal of KMITL Business School is committed to maintaining the highest academic standards through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, methodological rigour, scholarly significance, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
1. Initial Screening by Editorial Office
Upon submission, each manuscript is checked for completeness, adherence to author guidelines, plagiarism report (similarity ≤30%), and compliance with ethical standards. Manuscripts failing these checks are returned for revision or rejected outright.
2. Assignment to Editor
The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate/Assistant Editor evaluates the manuscript’s quality and relevance. If suitable, it is assigned to three independent reviewers from different departments/institutions.
3. Double-Blind Review
Authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s originality, theoretical framework, methodology, clarity, validity of results, and adherence to ethics.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ comments, the Editor-in-Chief decides: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
5. Author Revisions
Authors submit revised manuscripts with a point-by-point response within the set timeframe (Minor: 14 days; Major: 30–45 days).
6. Final Acceptance & Publication
Once approved, manuscripts undergo final proofreading and formatting before publication.
