The Journal of KMITL Business School (JKBS) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and discoverability of its published content.

1. Digital Archiving Policy

  • All published articles are permanently archived on the Thai Journals Online (ThaiJo) platform, which ensures secure hosting, regular backups, and ongoing technical maintenance.

  • JKBS participates in digital preservation systems through ThaiJo’s partnership with recognised archiving initiatives, ensuring content remains accessible even in the event of system failure.

  • Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive the final published PDF in:

    • Institutional repositories

    • Subject-specific repositories (e.g., SSRN, EconStor)

    • Personal websites or professional networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

  • Self-archived versions must include the complete citation to the original published article in JKBS.

2. Indexing Services

JKBS actively works to increase the visibility of its content through indexing in national and international databases.

Currently, the journal is indexed in:

  • Thai Citation Index (TCI) – Tier 2

  • ThaiJo Database

  • Google Scholar

The journal is in the process of applying for inclusion in:

  • ASEAN Citation Index (ACI)

  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

  • Scopus (long-term goal)

3. Metadata and DOI Assignment

  • JKBS provides rich metadata for all articles, including titles, abstracts, keywords, author affiliations, and references, by indexing standards.

  • The journal is planning to implement Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assignment for all published articles to ensure permanent linking and ease of citation.

4. Commitment to Accessibility

  • All published content is freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees (open access).

  • The journal adheres to best practices in website accessibility to ensure that articles are usable across devices and assistive technologies.
