Integration Model of Thai Classical Dance Course with Local Community Culture at Ban Phra Phloeng, Nok Ok Subdistrict, Pak Thong Chai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract
The current higher education teaching and learning management focuses on the development of learners’ learning in line with the 2009 Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, as well as encouraging learners to have 21st century learning skills through a teaching and learning process that uses a variety of techniques and through practical experience. In addition to teaching management as their principal task, teachers take on other important responsibilities such as conducting academic research, providing academic services, and preserving arts and culture. The integration of teaching and learning in the Archeological Dance Course in the topic of Creation of Dance Moves from Archeological Data was constructed to enhance experience for learners create desirable characteristics according to the qualification standards and important skills for the 21st century. This was done by integration of the Humanities and Cultural Wisdom Project under its third sub-activity. The Creation of Mon Dance at Ban Phra Phloeng was organized using group discussion in the classroom which were online activities to learn about the process of creating works from archaeological sources and then presentations in an academic forum was organized on the creation of works from archaeological sources. After the activities, learners summarize the guidelines for designing dance and present appropriate dance moves subsequently. This integration helped students create a thinking process, become more analytical, able to synthesize information on arts and culture, understand the process of creating works in the field of Thai classical dance, able to design creative dance moves from archeological sources, take pride in academic activities and in the field that learners are studying.
