A Study of the Singing Techniques of Tujia Gaoqiang Folk Songs in Guizhou Province, China

บทคัดย่อ

                  This research article was on A study of the singing techniques of Tujia Gaoqiang folk songs, Guizhou Province, China. This study's objective was to study the singing techniques of Tujia Gaoqiang folk songs, Guizhou Province, China.  The research instruments were the interview form and observation form. The key informants of this study included four professors who have experience teaching the Tujia Gaoqiang Folk Songs, in Guizhou Province, China.  The results found that: 1. True Voice: In general, people speak with true voice, and those who have not received voice training often sing with true voice, 2. Mix Tones: In pursuit of high-pitched and bright tones, 3. Mixed Female Voices: Within the range of a typical soprano voice, it can move up and down freely, with indistinguishable true and false sounds, 4. Local Vibration of Mixed Vocal Cords with a High Proportion of False Sounds: This was frequent head sounds, natural oral cavity, no low (chest) resonance, and low air consumption, 5. Natural Adjustment of Resonance: From the classification of singing methods, it can be seen that the resonance of Guizhou Tujia ethnic group's high-pitched mountain songs not only exists, 6. Relax the Chest and Open the Chest Naturally in the Low Voice Area: Singing with slight vibration, without emphasizing the expansion of volume. As the interval goes up or down, resonance is adjusted promptly according to the direction of the sound, and 7. Breathing Method: There are generally two types of breathing method which included slow and deep inhale, and fast and full inhale.
