Abstract

Creating Multimedia Tales to Promote Reading for Fifth Grade Students at
PrachapibalSchoolBangkok Metropolitan Administration Office.Theobjectivesof this
researchare:1) tocreate multimedia tales to promotereading for fifthgradestudents
at Prachapibal School Bangkok Metropolitan Administration 2) to compare reading
behavior before and after using multimedia tales to promote reading for fifth grade
students atPrachapibal SchoolBangkok Metropolitan Administration. A questionnaire
was used to collect the data from 26 students. The statistic used to analyzed this
research are as follows: percentage, the excursion standard, and T-test to analyzed
and compare the results of fifth grade students reading behavior before and after
using multimedia tales to promote lifetime reading.
The results of this research are as follows:
1) the behavior reading level of fifth grade students at Prachapibal School
beforeusing multimedia tales to promote readingover all are in moderatelevel.The
change of behavior reading level of fifth grade students at Prachapibal School after
using the multimedia tales to promote reading are in high level.After the researcher
carefully analyzing the aspects the researcher found reading behavior before using
multimedia tales to promote reading in high level and after using multimedia tales

to promote reading inhighlevel isobjectivesof reading. The reading behavior before
using multimedia tales to promote reading in moderate level and after using multimedia tales to promote reading in high level are the reading and the places. The
reading behavior before using multimedia tales to promote reading in low level and
after using multimedia tales to promote reading in moderate level is frequency of
reading.
2) Tocompare the reading behavior before and afterusing multimedia tales
to promotereadingoffifthgradestudentsatPrachapibalSchoolBangkok Metropolitan
