Abstract
In this article, the relationships between climate and cultural factors in meaning of traditional dwelling are presented in the theoretical framework. In order to study the factors that influence the dwelling formation and the first house of human in the past, there are two factors, namely climate and cultural factors. These two factors influenced the dwelling formation in different ways based on evidence, notes, theory and data comparison. From the study, primitive man built dwellings in the beginning because of the climate factor. However, if the climate is an important factor, the dwellings should be adjusted according to the climate of human migration in the past. People choose the dwelling form that they used to live in different climates. Therefore, the dwelling is not compatible with the climate. On the other hand, when the climate is not bad, the human residence patterns and the dwelling form are different. Culture has become a factor that influences the formation of dwellings. Therefore, this article summarizes the relationships and significance of dwellings by asking questions such as: How do the factors affect the pattern and how do they differ?
