Transitional Housing for Homeless

Abstract

Transitional housing of which architectural forms are contemporary residences are counted as an approach that improves the quality of life of the homeless and frees them from being the homeless. The Transitional housing assist them to establish themselves and give them a chance to live in the society. This article focuses on the concept of homeless shelter in Thailand as the role of transitional housing. The goal is to create an understanding of the relationship of the homeless shelter and the way of life. Which is useful for developing a homeless shelter that is consistent with use and mind lead to the enhancement of the potential of individuals and society. By studying and analyzing data through interviews and surveys and study the literature concepts and theories related. This article consists of four parts firstly, describes the definitions and important concepts. Second part describes the ways to organize shelter for the homeless in Thailand. Third part analyzes the role of the transition of homelessness and homelessness in Thailand. The last one concerns with conclusions, discussions, and recommendations for establishing a homeless shelter or rehabilitation center for the homeless in the role of transitional housing in Thailand.
