Patterns of Crime Against Property In Public Spaces, Yaowarat - Sampheng District, Bangkok

Abstract
This article aims to study and examine larceny-theft crime in term of the location, frequency and time in Yaowarat – Sampeng district. This area is an important business zone with high economic value in bangkok. The area is under the responsibility of Chakrawat and Plabplachai 2 police station. There are 1 ,1 0 1 cases of larceny-theft crime occurred here from 2008-2018. (Bureau of National Police, 2019) The rampant offending larceny-theft crime which are pickpocketing and stealing case occurred in the public spaces 188 cases. Those cases can identify the location and including in study area. To studies and analyzes the locations of street retails and standing store is objected to show the larceny-theft crimes phenomenon are usually committed during the business time near the cross walk where is crowded. Therefore, this pattern can disguise with the crowd while committing the crime.
