Abstract

The aims of this mix method research were to study the components of model and to examine validity of causal model of quality of life of Bangkok Metropolitan officers in Buddhist psychology context. 11 key informants were Buddhist experts, psychologists, and organization administrators and the sample were 480 people, selected by cluster random sampling. The research tools were guidelines for interview and questionnaires. Content analysis and LISREL program were used for analysis. The results were as follows: 1) The components of the model consisted of 3 latent external variables, 1 mediator variable and 1 latent internal variables 2) The structural equation model was valid and fit to the empirical data. The model indicated that the Chi-square goodness of fit to test was 139.95, df = 116, p = 0.064, GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.95, RMR = 0.257 and RMSEA = 021. and 3) Iddhipada 4 was a mediator variable. Hope and Resilience have direct and indirect effect on the quality of life of Bangkok metropolitan officers through Iddhipada 4
